By the way what was this increasing question and what passage?

That wasn’t my test either. Was urs form 59A?

EDIT: i have the same as the above poster. Someone just beat me to posting.

Yeah, qwt2 got a queer test. I haven’t heard of anyone of having those passages.

Seagull’s with a dance
Plams in HI
A printer
WPA’s artists and Harlem

sg i think u mean painter not printer

this is soooo messed up…

…yea i’m in the states. i wanna call the ACT center, but what if they are like: you are talking about the test questions! (otherwise how would you know you had a different test!) and they’ll be like CANCEL SCORES…

…what should i do?..

edit: i don’t remember, but i feel like my form was not 59 A

What increase question? I don’t recall. From what passage?
^ wait like 2-3 hrs. That’s odd but not ur fault.

the increase question was a context vocab question. it was in one of the topic sentences (paragraph 4 or 5). the paragraph talked about how environmental conditions (guessing, it might not be) exacerbated the endangerment of the palm. i forget what the vocab word was though, but the answer was ‘increases’ the problems

ok, yeah I remember now. I got that too.

Oh ok yeah I said increased for that then too.

Oh I think I remember that one but Im pretty sure I put increasing. Oh in the palm tree one was it a mongoose that didnt do as much damage or something?

Can someone remind me what the word was? I remember the question, but I don’t think I can remember my answer unless I know the word lol

The increase was question was asking what the word “compound” (or compounds, compounded, one of those words) meant. I think it was in the palm trees section. And the answer was increase.

And I said the mongoose did the least damage.

OHH thats right, yeah the compounded one was definitely increased. And for the seagull one was the part with her boots being trimmed with beads also meaning embellished?

Yes. Embellished means decorated. And I put mongoose too since it was the only one not mentions and it would be inferred that it wasn’t mentioned since it did the least damage.

I put embellished.

embellished and mongoose were the correct answers. this was a easy reading test

yeah, it also said mongoose ate rats, and rats were some of the damage-doers

Yeah–the answer is mongoose, but mongooses were mentioned in the passage. But like charlieharper said, they eat rats so they actually kind of help.

Oh

what can be inferred about the mainland palm trees isntead of the island ones

i picked the choice that had to do with if the NPF would study them

it was the last question i had and i didn’t have time to go through it
