So how is everyone doing in terms of preparing? I am so overwhelmed with school work that I have so little time to study. I just need to improve my CR score. Any suggestions?

I am skipping a whole week of school. Taking two practice tests a day. I already improved from 1400 to 1900.. I want to get to a 2100

I am international so it is harder for me

i have no school friday which is really convenient, ahh reviewing vocab i did over this summer all week.

Would it be any helpful to learn new vocab this week...not cramming but just like 50 or so from the common vocab list?

couldn't hurt, unless you suck worse in another section...

i've had mono so i havent prepared at all... i totally forgot they were even this weekend until my dad mentioned it a few days ago.. ughh i'm stressed.. and i have so much makeup work for actual school that i dont even relaly have time to study now! anyone have any suggestions

Sentence COmpletions are my main weakness right now...this week I'm going to try to bump my CR score as much as possible...math I'm pretty much set for.

hoping for 40 points on CR, 30 on math, 30 on writing, for a grand total of 2250. i think i can manage it, esp considering im smarter now

hmm, since i've been studying since mid-august... hoping for atleast 2100, though practice tests sometimes give me a little more or less than that.

i have tuesday and wednesday off, and thursday is a half day, I'll have plenty of last-minute study time...

i'm planning on taking a break from studying on Friday.. is that a bad idea?

I'm gonna do the same Dragon...and yes Friday clear ur mind of all SAT work..but I think saturday morning I'm gonna do a few math problems to warm me up and maybe do a CR section or read the newspaper

I haven't done any studying since I last took the SAT. Oh noes....

Well, I've got next week, which includes two holidays. Hopefully with this time I can increase my score by, oh, say, 70 points.

just remember, when you walk into the test, be extremely confident and get rid of any shreds of doubt that you may have, that's all it takes. If you can remember to do that on teh day of the test, and you know that your capable of doing it, then it's already done.

How much do plan to improve on frm your last SAT? my goal is 200 pts and 300 pts as my extended goal, but i've also been working again on SAT since july.

funkmasta..easier said than done...but yah thats true Confidence = 50% factor on getting the score you want. How are you gonna walk in confident? Any tips?

girlfriend..my goal = Math: 620 -> 700 minimum, but pretty confident I can score around 750 or more / Verbal: 500 -> 650

I'm just hoping to match my ACT scores right now I got a 33 so that's about a 2210 ish.... I only took the SAT once in March beacuse I forgot to take it again in May, but that's okay because I had AP's to study for anyway... but yeah I'm hoping for about a 300 point increase because I got a 1920 the first time... I think this is realistic because I jumped from a 28 on the ACT to a 33... so anyone who has doubts do not give up!

walk in confident. Period. It is easier said than done, but that's why you practice walking in confident on practice tests, just pretend it's the real thing, and pretend like you own the test, pretend it's your.....well, you get the point. Just do it now. If not now, tomorrow, watch your results go up like crazy. Done.
