<p>Indeed. As you might have seen on the Parent’s thread I took issue with a couple of posters who I felt dismissed your positive comments on the basis of you being a URM. People on CC are quick to infuse race when URMs make even the most benign comments regarding their successes as if there could possibly be no other factors. Those posters, even some of those I otherwise respect, only show their ignorance when they do such things. </p>
<p>I know for a fact that most of the people represented on this thread, as well as my own kids, worked every bit as hard for everything they’ve accomplished. I refuse to let anyone try to diminish such efforts by just chalking it all up to racial preference.</p>
