i find it pretty strange that not a single person on CC received a decision…now those are some odd odds

yeah. no decision for me (but i submitted my app 2 hours before deadline.)

i personally know one of the people who was accepted on the 13th last year and he was a far superior candidate compared to myself. maybe we are, as a a whole, not very appealing students compared to last years’ crop (even with our 3.9+ GPA’s, interesting life stories, etc…)

No decision for me either.

You would think a University with the Wharton School of Business would be a little more organized…

well whoever received an e-mail, i’d presume they’d get decisions later on, becuase they have to factor in your final grades. hopefully that means we’re under consideration, becuase i don’t think theyd’ ask for grades if they were just going to reject you anyway.

i thought they asked for your grades cuz they were missing your midterm report.

yeah tha’s right. they asked for grades on may 9th. i mean, that’s pretty late in the game to be asking for your mid term report if they were going to reject you anyway

in response to goldhamster, regardless of how much of a crap shoot transfer admission have become, you’d think at least a couple if not more CC members with 3.9+ gpa’s would get in.

(also I’m curious what the record length is for a CC transfer thread that doesn’t have at least one friggin decision)

but midterm was a requirement for everyone regardless…oh and everything i said about fall 06, disregard it. We got screwed!

this site is just making me more anxious and stressed than i should be…maybe i should try to stay away.

are decisions posted during weekdays? or is there a possibility that they might be posted during the weekends?

i don’t think they’ve released any decisions at all, have they? i mean, a lot of people on CC applied, and NONE of us have gotten emails

ivytransfer, see one of my earlier posts. spoke with admissions, they said about a 100 applicants found out today and they all received some kind of mail or email notifying them that they would be receiving decisions. the person said that the 100/2000+ were random, but we all know that can’t be true.

ok conclusion: none of us have gotten e-mails and we’re all exceptional students therefore, they’re running late this year (as they did some previous years ago). don’t worry…

i gave up already

i got in! you guys didn’t get decisions yet??

i remember with the penn 06 and 07 transfer threads, i got frustrated just reading about their situation, now i get to finally live it myself.

haha i bet the 09 and 10 transfer kids will be pulling their hair out reading the first 30 pages of our thread.

hmmm. that sucks. guess i didn’t get in anywhere this year. that’s odd, cos my teacher forwarded me an e-mail of an adcom saying “that’ll definitely help him out!” referring to the grade my teacher forwarded to her. guess it didn’t help much.

nyctransfer, where’d you apply, college, wharton or seas?

Maintain GPA and go again as a sophomore. You’ve got the stats. Just make yourself even better and go at it again?

Good luck with Penn.
