nyctransfer, did you get your decision by mail or did you get it online with your PIN and password?

Gotta be online.

it cant be true (nyc)

if it is, you’re the man.

if not, you’re crazy for making us crazy. but then again, we already are. lol

i’m willing to bet college, not wharton.

hahaha sorry, i was just kidding… i know you ALL hate me now

get off this crazy website, you’ll drive yourselves crazy!!!

haha true that nyc. cruel joke though man, cruel joke :D

Dude, come on. You realize that just set everybody off.

nice one nyc! :)

haha take it easy everyone, just a joke to break the tension. it makes a lot of sense that they would release decisions based on when people applied rather than auto admits or rejects.

I’ve seen people get gutted for less.

Hehe.

I doubt that…I sent mine in pretty early…

How does it make sense to stagger apps? Deadline is deadline? They don’t start processing till after the deadline? Why would they stagger apps?

lol ask them. i can’t believe NOONE on cc has gotten an e-mail. nuts.

i mean, penn gets a LOT of applicants because it’s a fairly big for an ivy (10000 undergrads i think?) so they’re really busy processing apps. i guess that’s why they stagger

2000 apps last year. 2 months?

They do 27k in 3/4 for frosh admissions.

Seems a bit easier.

i called in and they said transfer dmissions is more hectic than frosh because there is less time. dunno

No ways… Ratios.

27000ish – It’s actually three months? Jan 1st to April 1st?

2000ish – 2 months? March 15th to May 15th.

no idea. transfers are handled by a different office though, probably with a lot less personnel

bourne ur ratios are flawed because they don’t really spend 2 months on transfer admissions. if you remember they were just making sure our apps were complete at the end of april.

until freshman admission figures have been finalized (meaning everyone who’s coming, aside from waitlist admits of course, have paid their deposits and committed), they don’t start start on transfers.

Really they being reading our applications during the opening days of May. I don’t think they have the full staff of frosh admissions either. They have transfer officers and each school’s dean.
