^ did you get your postcard?

i called penn, they said you dont really need to give your mid term report if the professors dont want to give it to you..

they said it will just help you more..

but not a strict requirement = they wont cancel your application for it

also, if you got the packet for fin aid, you dont need to fill it up if u filled out the fafsa and profile online!

see above post! :)

what? when i called they said that it was absolutely required. and that they “need to have it.” now i wish i hadnt sent it because my grades werent stellar.

what color is the next postcard? Yellow or Green?

I haven’t gotten any postcard.

blinktwice - I’d say you still did the right thing. not sending your grades at all would have most likely put you at an even greater disadvantage than choosing to send your less than stellar grades. if you didn’t send your grades at all, then what do they know, you could be failing all your classes…which is probably not the message you want to send.

when can we expect to hear back from Penn? When do we get our decisions?

I understand that it says mid-may…but does anyone have any more info than that? I looked at the thread from last year and most people got theirs in the 1st 10 days in May. That’s still far off…ugh…

bump it up

i hope they don’t mind that i emailed my midterm grade update a day late.
and — i’'m really psyched about penn. i wish you all the best of luck (second best at least
), and i hope we can hang out together in philly next year.

I’m totally psyched too. I visited campus the other week and it is AWESOME!

no card still…

bumppp…

apps have been in for a month or so, waiting is killing. i’d say we’re about 4-5 weeks away from decisions.

anyone send in supplemental materials like resume, activity sheet, music recording, and so on?

anyways, hopefully we can keep this thread active, and update each other about receiving post cards, letters, and any kind of correspondence with the admissions office.

I sent in an athletic tape? Does that count?

They said: “No worries! We have just begun to read transfer applications now. Your application will definitely be considered.”

how to check the status?? why they do not have a website like columbia. I have used common app to apply, so is there a difference between the common app and penn’s own application?

You can’t check the status. If you are missing anything, they will tell you.

Also, is an interview necessary/part of the admission?

Nope, I don’t believe that they offer them.

so they will phone me to tell me or email?
