actually the best college is probably the University of Nebraska: Kearney
that school just kicks ass

My mistake, let me clarify. From the periods between H.W. Bush and Dubya, our national debt didn't increase and our trade deficit wasn't as big. Yeah, I think what Clinton shaved off was really a drop in the bucket. I'm already bracing myself for the taxes we'll have to pay in a few years.

Just wondering, but how does the Nebraska Cornhuskers mascot look?

Nah we won't get the new taxes. Just massive inflation.

I'm pretty sure we'll have all these new taxes imposed upon us once China becomes more offensive as a military threat. Right now they're just keeping low. Wouldn't surprise me if they were monitoring these boards. Just kidding.

Harvard, Penn, and Yale all suck the big one (Harvard especially, the evil capitalist institution). Go Caltech!!!!!

Man I'm thinking I should have applied to Tokyo U. I don't know any Japanese but I could wing it.

I only applied to Penn.

Yale can ride it, hard. This is a Harvard/Penn thread.

Yeah, Yale isn't even competitive with Penn, why should it be in the discussion? In fact, Harvard isn't competitive with Penn, why is it in the discussion? Let's just have a Penn thread!

If there is even one institution in the world that can compare to Penn, it would be Tokyo U. All the Ivy Leagues should make a one-semester exchange program with Tokyo U mandatory.

Hey I hear that at Tokyo U they're working on a RoboJesus that can walk on water, and Jesus loves Penn, so they go hand in hand. :)

hahaha

god and jesus love penn

I bet that Tokyo and Pennsylvania are sister city-states! God and Jesus love Pennsylvania, the Spirit and RoboJesus love Tokyo.

I read somewhere (can't recall where) that Penn has more "piracy" than Harvard. This seems to indicate that His Noodly Appendage (http://www.venganza.org/) would like Penn better. :)

The football game is going to be at Penn next year.

Remember to scream: "Hahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhvard sucks"

I'm going to Penn as well, but I think the best colleges for undergraduates, academically, are Deep Springs and the University of Chicago. I doubt I could get into Harvard, but if I had the choice I would choose Penn, simply because it fits me better. I would hate to graduate from harvard and carry that prestige with me. Everyone would expect so much more from you, and others would directly compete with you in order to self-assure themselves that they could or should have gotten into Harvard. The way I see it, graduating from Harvard puts you on a pedestal. You can meet the infinitely high expectations or fall somewhere below that line. You cannot, however, exceed those expectations.

Good post, dude.

Does anyone actually care about the Harvard - Penn football games?

this is such a biast forum...anyways i really do love penn and im pretty sure im going to have a better time there than i would at harvard, but please ask yourselves.....would you really give up harvard for penn? i bet most of you wouldnt admit it here, but inside you know i'm right (with the exception of ppl like franti, which yeah that totaly makes sense). and im not advocating that harvard is necessarily a better school then penn, it just has a bigger name...which definately carries a lot of helpful weight later on. ok, my guidance counselor even thought penn was a state school...
