That’s great news! If you don’t mind me asking, how did you get Pomona to offer you more financial aid? What did you say when you called them? I am in a similar situation as you but when I called I didn’t really have much luck getting them to increase my package. Thanks.</p>

<p>jajubee, it ended up that my dad emailed them, and he made it clear (politely) that we simply couldn’t afford that amount, and then they just sent me an email that said “your financial aid package has been revised.” Suddenly it was MUCH more affordable. I had no idea what hit me. What’d you say on the phone?</p>
