Official Post Your Oct. 6 SAT scores thread

yessssss i improved by 160 points.

cr, 720, up from 680.
math, 680, up from 660.
writing 740, up from 640.
2140 overall up from 1980.

i think i will retake in december....but i am not 100% sure yet. i want 2250+. i know i can improve the math but now i am afraid to decrease on cr or writing. i dont know.

cr: 720 (-20 June)
w: 800 (+20 June)
m: 710 (+50 June--yaaaay)

2250!!! I am so happy!!! I never have to take a standardized test again evarrr.

cr: 740 (+50 march)
m: 800 (same march)
w: 680 (-10 march sucks)

2220 or 2230 superscore... idk...i'm neither happy nor sad..

Does anyone know what's the national percentile for the 2120 would be (example: top 5%?)

Critical Reading 670 (up 40 points)
Math 700 (up 20 points)
Writing 690 (up 60 points)

1370/2060
better than my last 1310/1940, but i still wanted to reach that 1400! oh well, i'm going to retake in december.

I'm pretty sure that's top 5, or not far off. If your points are evenly distributed, you're in really good shape--the middle 50% of most colleges' SAT distribution seems to be from 660ish to 780ish, and your scores probably come pretty close to that.

hs2012, http://www.collegeboard.com/prod_downloads/highered/ra/sat/SATPercentileRanksCompositeCR_M_W.pdf

@HS: 2120 is like 98 percentile

THanks for the link andreaaaaa, I've been looking for it =)

do you guys remember the whole charlatan/sardonic thing? i think it ended up being charlatan and sardonic, right? i got 720 and if i missed both of those i am sure it would have been lower. can anyone with an 800 cr confirm that they put charlatan and sardonic?

M 680 (+20)
CR 680 (-10 T_T)
W 700 (-60 Take me now...)

2060... but superscore of 2130. I am soo disappointed in myself.

W: 670
CR: 560
M: 500
Composite: 1730

I'm so sad. I mean, this isn't a bad score for a freshman, but I didn't reach the minimum for this one summer program... :(

This is terrible. I did so much worse that I thought I did.
According to CC, I only got two CR questions wrong, and one math problem wrong. I ended up with a 690 in CR and a 700 in Math. Ugggh. I did not expect this at ALL.

Math 800
Reading 800
Writing 780
Composite 2380

crazy ass, honestly! If I could show up with such scores, I wouldn't have to run for another StupidAssTest aka SAT in December.

Really a big blow for me...My first test..
M - 680 (was expecting atleast a 760 - was the curve so harsh)
W - 640 (8 in essay...not too bad)
CR 550 (:-()
Now I'm in big trouble...I was thinking of giving SAT II in december..but now i have to rethink....
The thing is that, if i take SAT I in dec, it won't leave me time to give SAT II!which i can only give on Jan 26th!!!

When do we get to know how many mistakes we made?

Math 730
Reading 600
Writing 650
Composite 1980
this is my first time I take the SAT test. I expected that Math is 800, Reading is 620, Writing 600. Anyway, I'm pleased with my result :D

Only score that I wanted to improve was math; was hoping for a bigger improvement. I didn't really care about the other scores, so I kind of BSed them. Not taking these anymore.
M - 670 (+10) :(
W - 640
Cr - 650

1290/1970
Superscore 1390/2110

I hate myself.

M- 590 (down from 620, which was bad enough to begin with)
CD- 650 (down from 710)
W- 690 (up from 660)

I don't even want to add them up.
