*******Official Predictions Thread********

SPAN= 770+

USH= 690-750 (I probably just jinxed it)

Math II: 750+
Chem: 700+

It was so hard...... i ran out of time in math

Jenife:
I got about 40 pages into Kaplan and had to stop, they spent way too long on trivial things. I thought Barron's actually did a fairly good job, and if I had read the whole thing and studied more it would have helped. I just looked in Barron's though and saw that the two questions I missed weren't actually covered. So blah. I hope to do better on chem in June.

Oh, and I have a question: If you get let's say 6 wrong, does that count as 1 point off or two? In other words do they round the .5 up or down for your score?

reversepsych:

i really like barrons but no one else does. kaplan is just blah, yeah. are you in ap bio? you seem to know a lot. i actually used pr for the most part - its shallow but some points are very important. the e section was very eco & the m section didnt seem very biochem either. collegeboard has some issues. but now i know their tricks. i think im gonna take chem next yr after ap chem (i havent taken chem at all yet). are you in ap chem?

i wish you the best for chem:)

ps did you find, like a lot of typos in the barrons book? i dont only mean grammatical stuff, but bio stuff? i think that its not very clear & that there are some typos about very important topics. it doesnt cover all the topics well.

If you get say 6 wrong out of 64 questions that you answered, it's
64-(6/4) = raw score = 62.5
Which rounds up to 63.

^Yes, I'm in AP Bio and AP Chem this year. Has ap test freakout

Collegeboard really has issues, those diagrams were so bizarre, and the molecular section was not what I expected.

And YES about the typos, I thought I was losing my mind for a while because I was fairly certain some of the stuff was wrong, and some of the answers for the practice tests contradicted what was said in the info. I remember they put 'lectrons' instead of electrons, and I was like hmm.. The scariest thing I encountered during studying was on the free sparknotes practice test though. The answer said: B is incorrect, you should have selected answer B. Not amusing.

Thanks for the luck!!

Math IIC: not even going there...
Chem: 720+

This did not go as planned. I completely blew it :((

sigh of relief good im not the only person losing my mind. i think that all of these prep co. have some problems. lol i saw the 'lectrons' too. pr too. i really dont like sparknotes but it helped me somewhat. barrons practice tests are totally stupid & irrelevant...

*********good luck again*******************

Chem: 760+ (I don't know of any I got wrong yet :))

USH: 780-800
Chem: signed up for but didn't take. I had already emailed collegeboard if I'll be penalized/scores cancelled but they said I would only lose my $8. I hope they were telling the truth.

Now, on to Math IIC and chem next month...

^I did the same thing, opting out of chem until next month, so that's good to know.

haha i love how every1 on cc predicts 750 or higher. i wanna see your scores after u get them back

^^ I'm being completely honest in saying 760+; I checked virtually all of my answers to the hard chem q's (that the members of the chem thread could remember) and found none wrong. Unless I made careless errors, I think my prediction is pretty accurate.

ok thats fine but im just saying u never know if u screwed up or not. its better to predict low and be surprised with a higher score than to predict an 800 and get sub 700

Bio-M: 790-800
After reading through the Bio thread here on CC... seems that I havent got any wrong yet =)

GIME SCORES NOW. D:
i hope i did well on bio.

tennisboy, I was predicting low when I said

780 Chem (-3)
and 790 Physics (only -7)

:O

thats the way i felt...until about 3 hours later when i realized i think i missed 4 easy problems.

lolcats4, that is just being arrogant and cocky...predicting low as 780 or 790?

Im going to predict correctly here and say that I think I got above a 280!!

No but being serious....I am hoping to get a 740+ on the US History.
I should have studied more. It was harder than i thought....so I guess i will just have to wait and see......
