**Official Princeton Class of 2013 Decisions COUNTDOWN!**

Wheeee, the deadline has past and now we're all just suckers for the countdown. Decisions should be out Mar. 31, I think - so that's only .. 88 days away!
Anyhoo, I thought this thread might be a good idea to keep all of us (mildly) occupied while we're waiting.
So does anyone have any good time-killing things to do for the long wait? :D

resurrect my grade point average for the next 88 days.

Plenty, thanks to my teachers.

But must you make it sound so long…88days??? lol  makes me cringe just thinking about it that way. try ~2.5 months.

well, I still have plenty to do with the midyear reports and fin. aid ;-)

I second KitKatz, let’s officially not go by a DAY count…

But then another issue surfaces: The count will be stuck at 2.5 months for a few days, making it appear like time is moving slower…

The only way to counteract this is to become more technical and graduate the month count into millionths.

What do you guys think? :D

^ Why not? I volunteer you for the job, Astonisher. ;)

amen to that.

ummmmmm

Why not count down by days?!! They’ll fly by!!

Except there will be a few more days for me :frowning: I think I’m going to wait until the mail comes (instead of checking on the website).

Is it sad that I have “88 Days!!” as the banner on my cell phone?

^yeah.
sorry
:)

^Second that. It’s torture reminding yourself constantly how many days you still have to wait in agony.

rofl @ butternut

lol, it’s comforting knowing I have that many days before my dreams of attending an ivy league are dashed. :)

^Wow that’s even sadder. lol :)

Gosh, apparently I’m good at that. :p

i’ve got a question to pass the time!!
does anyone else have to deal with obnoxious classmates that are seriously up in everyone’s business about college admissions?
people keep on asking me where i’m applying, whether i got in early anywhere (hah which i didnt), etc, etc, and i really don’t think it’s there business!

what to say?!

I never revealed to any of my classmates what schools are applying to. lol. I thought that I would get pestered…and it would be kind of embarrassing to tell them that I didn’t get accepted lol.

I’m valedictorian, and the saludictorian is a pain in the you know where and he applied to princeton too (well, he doesnt know I applied). but whenever he ask, I would just tell him, “UC Berkeley, UCLA, and some other private schools”. it gets him seriously ****ed off because I know if he knew he got in and I didn’t he could rub it in my face (that jerk :p).

Just tell them the schools you know you could get in, or ones you have a good chance of getting in. What ever you want. Don’t give in  And you are right. it’s NOT their business. it makes me mad that some people think it’s their one of their guaranteed rights in the constitution to know about other people’s college stuff and wouldn’t take a “mind your own business” for an answer.

Butternut: LOL :D

kitkatz, thanks! you are so right and that is a good idea. i’ve been trying to do those generalizations too! i think i’m just going to bite a few people’s heads off tomorrow, it really isn’t their business and i’m feeling a little snappy :D

ANYWAYS. we’re 5 days into january! yippeeee, getting closer!

wellp boys, only 84 Days 10 Hours 25 Minutes & 34 Seconds

okay so maybe i have a countdown to march 31… maybe…
