Essays- I thought they were above average. I didnt write about my ECs. I wrote about what I truly felt, the essays were very me. They expressed my Latin heritage, my religious side and my liberalism.

Counselor Rec- Awesome, but he was new so he knew me for only 4 months when he wrote it
Interview- I want to be a physician and my interviewer was a physician, so we talked about the beauty of medicine, it went really well

<p>fee waiver is for students who have financial need and cannot pay for the application. the university will waive the fee for them.</p>

Took hard course load, etc. I think the thing that might push be would be my unique personal traits, background, hobbies, interests, but I guess they didnt convince the Adcom enough so they threw me into regular decision pool to compare me with others and then decide. Ive actually gotten over it because now the doors are open to so many more great schools ( Stanford!!).
Its an honor to be deferred especially when I see so many other great outstanding applicants in the deferral pool. Don't worry, some of us will get in and the rest will end up in some other great schools. Not to be cocky, but if you truly think you are great and have great potential, if a school doesnt accept you it is the school's lost .
Alright--Im going to ignore P-ton now and am now emotionally detached from it. Time to finish those other apps!</p>
