Official Princeton ED Decisions - Class of 2010

Are you a minority?

lol pyro, easy for a person who has their letter and was accepted....and for an NJ applicant...it's rare not to have it by now.....actually i've waited 2 months +, i submitted on October 10

Greco I am with you 100%. Unlike everyone who is on your case, I tihnk your right. Even if its not P-ton's fault you haven't gotten your letter, the way the handle the whole situation is ridiculuous. You should check out Pomona and finish up the stuff for all your other colleges. I got your back. Everyone else, step into his shoes and you'll that its a pain in the ass to still be anxious when you should know.

I smell World War I

thanks Russian...I greatly appreciate it.....at least one person isn't a pedantic, pontificating, pretentious punk. Thanks Russian...I hope you get in on the regular round.... I will be sending my other apps tomorrow....decision or not....Thank you for your sensibility

Yea Greco I agree I would be freaking out right about now if I didn't know. Do you think the late mail has anything to do with the excuse you made to the admissions office? (I vaguely remember you mentioning giving an excuse that you'd be out of town to get your decision earlier in another thread)

no i used a pseudo-email and name.....

as great as the alliteration is, i'm not a pedantic, pontificating, pretentious punk, and i don't see the necessity of posting more than twice that you're still waiting for your letter. i assure you all of us understand. i'm waiting for my letter. and i'm sorry that you happen to live close to princeton and happen to be the one person you know of who hasn't gotten their letter. but i really don't think that princeton or god or ANYONE is specifically smiting you. nor do i think that deciding that princeton is trying to pull 'BS' or that it's not a good school is warranted based off of not getting your letter today, at all. furthermore, it's only been one day. there's probably something with the mail, and you'll find out soon enough, most likely tomorrow. i hope you get in - even if you're looking at pomona now - and i'm anxious too.

2 days...2 days since Jerseyans got their decisions

futurebeethoven, you just don't understand...as simple as that...anyway...i'm pretty much finished with the forum...unless i get in now or the next round...after my decision i don't expect to stay around here.....what's the point???

JTC and Russian, thanks for your understanding...it has made this a little bit easier.

I mean I am a Hispanic, my mom born in Nicaragua, and my father is Puerto Rican.

about the way you're acting? you're right, i don't.

bye then.

greco, stop spamming this forum. it will be looked at by next year's applicant's. create your own thread for the purposes of your issue.

Agrophobic and fenderbender- with you 100%. Princeton was definitely my first choice but just because I'm deferred doesn't mean I'll think anything less of myself... I know I'm intellectually qualified to attend and never would have even contemplated applying if I hadn't known that. I'm pondering Northwestern, Chicago and UVA myself.... best of luck to you both in your admissions futures.

dude greco i really hope you're not my roommate at princeton cuz i can't put up with any more whining from you...

I wonder if letters will reach Atlanta tomorrow. Ugh. I've found that the best way to calm down about Pton is to work on other college apps. It's nice to remind myself that there are plenty of other places I love. Although, I am jealous of you ppl who don't have to even think about college apps anymore!

Hey guys. You can add me to the accepted list. Look forward to meeting you all.

Greco Princetonian: Having been in your situation last year, I can tell you that while there are many constructive ways of coping with the stress, spamming a board full of equally anxious and dissapointed people with constant rants is not one of them.

Your posts have been revealing in other ways as well. Some pages ago, I seem to recall you mentioning that Princeton is "gay." Even if this were all Princeton's fault, there is no need to resort to offesnive epithets more typically associated with 10 year old boys than with someone who hopes to be accepted at Princeton. I would also guess that there are many people with a lot weightier complaints against G-d who handle their situation with more grace and less self-pitying melodrama than you do. Grow up.
