I don't mean to be rude, but geez man.

44% acceptance.....pretty good.......

44% acceptance rate! Niiiice!

Of course, there is voluntary response bias (showing off AP Stat knowledge), since people who got in are more likely to post.

But congrats to acceptees! And good luck RD to deferred!

Run the descions against the list of the CCers who signed up on the ED candidate list, and check all the names, so we can keep track.

polishdude, you are obviously not worrying because your decision is evident....you'll be rejected, amateur charlatans don't get into Pton...that simple....please...i don't appreciate your inane comments...mind your own....i wonder what your response would be if everyone in your state received their decisions except you...ok so please...

um...let's see 11 out of 14 right now got into princeton from our school :)

Wow thats an amazing statistic....Do rates like that make it harder for people from other NJ schools to get in?-

I think it is just a Princeton, NJ thing. I mean they live right next to the school there whole lives. Man that must be terrible to be rejected... I sympathize with those kids.

We had 5 applicants. Two were accepted, one deferred, and we don['t know about the other two.

sorry about the typo...my hs is also in nj about 1 hour from pton

Greco, please relax. Everyone not in NJ has to wait, too. You'll survive the next 15 hours; I promise. Plus, your ranting is a bit wearisome. Really, you'll be fine. =) I promise!

As for me...lol oh, I am looking forward to this letter. Win or lose, I just want to know.

And sorry for being off-topic. I won't offend again.

Greco, you are plain vulgar.

To ppl who have recieved: was it First Class or Priority mail?

Greco, I think you have officially earned yourself a bad rep.. c'mon, no one here wants to hear your whining about how you didnt get your letter, and no one especially wants to hear you put others down. I realize you are anxious, as is everyone else. There isnt any need for your mean comments and stuff. Please stop spamming this board so it is clean for people to see ED results. Thanks.

Decision: DEFERRED...

General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: Well, I can't say I wasn't expecting this, but I can't say I'm not disappointed. Getting in would have been great, as senior year would have been carefree. Oh well, back to work. Next choices: Stanford, Penn, Cornell...

Just to tell you about what happened last year, it was very hard for deferred people to get accepted RD. Check last year's threads if you want to see what I mean. However, the deferred at Princeton got into all sorts of other great schools (Penn, Yale, Harvard, Cornell, Dartmouth, MIT, Georgetown, etc). Don't lose hope!

this thread is incredibly depressing. why must college admissions be such a crapshoot.

Greco if you have been accepted already, why are you still so eager to get that letter?!

My high school is 3/3 on acceptances. A full 2% of the class of '06 and Princeton '10, assuming no more people get in regular.

We've got 1 acceptance, 1 deferral, 1 rejection.
