Cornell/Barnard here I come.

Surprised at some of the results - scary.

so sorry Clen...they just don't like us rural NYers this year....maybe I'll see you at Cornell?

admissions makes no sense to me...i guess thats why i'm not an admissions officer

Sorry eventer. Cornell used to be my top choice before I knew other states existed, but it's a little bit too career-driven for me, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to Rice, unless somehow Cornell comes through with a lot better finaid. I see that you were waitlisted at Yale so you always have that hope! Good luck wherever you go!

Hey all,

I'm currently a student here, and I wanted to let you all know that you can PM me if you have any questions about the place.

Congratulations to all those admitted, and I hope to see you at April Hosting, talk to you over the phone, or chat with you online, and hopefully...see you here next fall!

To those with slightly harsher fortune...I wish you all the best, wherever you go. I know other very bright, motivated folks who didn't get into their dream schools last year, and this year, they can't imagine being anywhere else in the world than where they ended up going. One's told me that it was positively divine grace that got him rejected from his top school.

I know that at this time, for some of you, wounds will burn far to deeply for these few words of mine to really soothe much. I just wanted to let you guys know, for what it's worth, that the best of times are still ahead for you.

Good luck to everyone!

Hey everyone!! Congrats!!!!!

I'm a current freshman here. Feel free to PM me w/ questions about my Pton experience, or anything else! For those of you who didn't get in: there's life after rejection! You'll thrive wherever you go. :)

Everyone's stats here are interesting. It's cool to see what types of kids Pton's admitting this year. You're all amazing! I cannot wait to meet some of you in the fall!!

-Doolittle '10

Accepted!!! :)

(School: 3 applied, 3 admitted)

i feel really bad posting my stats considering the people that didn't get in but I am so happy right now I can't even tell you. Princeton and UCLA were both my childhood dream schools and I got into both of them with subpar grades but a decent SAT but i did get denied/waitlisted from about 4 places.

Decision: ACCEPTED!

Camelia--I'm truly disappointed that you weren't accepted and I definitely think that Princeton will be the poorer for not having you there. You have some terrific choices, however (I'm a big Dartmouth fan) and you will be a terrific addition to any school you chose.

thank you so much, midatlmom (and everyone else). i'm honestly moved by how supportive everyone has been throughout this. :)

oh and congrats to j07, I look forward to seeing you this fall
