Official Princeton Rd Decisions

wow you got into huntsman and were waitlisted at those others? ADCOMS ARE CRAZY!!!! its so random its ridiculous. huntsman is so hard to get into it seems like you should be accepted everywhere if you get in. but for you im not sure why you should worry, you should accept huntsman over the others anyway, i would think.

My s (white male by the way) received his acceptance yesterday (4/1) in California via Priority Mail dated 3/31. He was interested in the engineering school , if that makes any difference.

wow priority mail went cross country overnight? thats impressive.

hmm...does anyone know if they mailed out the acceptances before the rejections? did they send all of the decisions out? or are they doing it in batches?

and i'm kinda confused to as why some received their stuff via fedex/dhl while some others received it via priority mail. (even within the us)

but yeah..the waiting is killing me. princeton is the only school i havent heard from. and i was deferred ed. i cant believe it's making me wait so long.:(

haha sorry guys...i just had to vent somewhere.

sorry bout that iplayoboe... sorry to all the rejectees, except those who are happy with their other acceptances, because I am giving a congrats to them!

humph... still waiting. gonna be monday probably for me.

iplayoboe: sorry to hear that. I was rooting for you. I like Oboe.

strengths- dont know if MI counts as a midwest tip since high school was in FL, all electives were academic either IB/AP sciences or extra histories, was in IB program until 12th grade due to extenuating circumstances
[li] why you think you were accepted/rejected/defered: really crazy life story that'll curl your hair or uncurl it depending on the status of your hair at the commencement of the story ;) , first generation/impoverished, made the most of everything I could[/li][/ul]Other Factors: had more extenuating circumstances than you could shake a stick at, karate (state team), state-level awards in French, did something every summer (NASA SHARP, JSA Summer School at Yale, worked full time), worked during the school year to help mom, leadership in ec's, varsity track

THANK YOU GOD! I am sooo happy and suprised and relieved. When I saw the envelope in the mailbox, I grabbed it and went running into our apartment screaming, and when I reached my bedroom, I fell on my knees crying and thanking God. I cannot wait to be in Princeton. I cannot wait to meet everyone. And I am sooooo sorry for those not accepted, oh so sorry, and I just pray you have other very appealing options.
