***Official Princeton University Class of 2022 RD Applicant Thread***

Hey, everyone! I figured I would start this thread EARLY for the bunnies planning to apply to Princeton’s Class of 2022! This is NOT a “Chance Me” thread. Be kind, supportive, and have fun!

yeee!!! Princeton 2022 all the way from Africa!
Act: 34C (33 E 31 M 34 R 36 S)
IB: Math, Chem, Econ higher levels (37) - Class honors
Many extra-curriculars but passion in basketball, charity basketball work, U19 basketball mvp, coached a local primary school basketball and organizing a basketball camp for several orphanages in my village.
Last summer: worked for an engineering firm that is a government contractor of roads.

Um, is this thread only for RD? I’m SCEA but I don’t see anywhere else and I don’t see any reason why we should split up anyway.

But Princeton2022 anyway! So excited!

Whoo! Hopefully choosing RD over SCEA works out well for me ^^; if SCEA didn’t prevent me from applying early for honors at UConn I would totally do it.

EDIT: As I wrote this, I just realized I could technically still apply to UConn honors because it’s public. Heck Yeah.

International applicant and a 2022er - not sure about SCEA yet but the mere idea of Princeton excites me!!!

Is this only for RD? I plan on appling SCEA? Is there a forum for 2022 SCEA yet?

Maybe we should split, since many SCEAs are here. Who’s up for creating it?

im scea as well, has anybody created a thread yet? what are your intended majors?

Electrical Engineering here

anybody else?

SCEA here

RD here for biological engineering

SCEA Public and International relations, anyone else?

So I’ve decided to go RD. I just don’t feel I’d put my best foot forward with SCEA. Not grades or anything, just the application as a whole. So best of luck to the SCEA applicants.

Anyone know the word/character limit for the list questions in application? Are you just going to put name of book etc or more write up?

@brazos21 see: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/20158371

Answer how you need to, so that the adcoms know you. Short, where you need no explanation, but if a few more words will make one or two of your responses memorable, go for it. Just don’t try the reader’s patience by writing long responses to every short prompt.

you all ready??? so excited!!!

Anyone else here for astrophysics? I can’t wait to apply in January!

Got my likely letter but can’t decide… Princeton or Stanford ??

@cllgerower1999 You’ve been accepted to both? Congrats!!! It’s a good problem to have. Are you a recruited athlete?
