Couldn’t if I tried xP

ERMAGERD I FINALLY GOT AN INTERVIEW.
Doesn’t mean much, but still.

Unlikely I’ll get one, but out of interest, do Princeton send out likely letters?

Yes they do, I received mine a few weeks ago. Good luck to you all!

^I think they were asking about non-athletic likely letters. Congrats, though!

What did they say in the likely letter??

@DHS4ever24 - Congrats!!

Could you share your stats please??

I’m fairly positive they send non athletic likely letters as well. As for the letter itself, it is very brief. The words say, verbatim, “we will send you a formal letter of admission in late march”.

The only non athletes who receive likely letters are Questbridge applicants. No other likely letters are issued.

[Getting in: Athletes? road to admission - The Daily Princetonian](http://www.dailyprincetonian.com/2010/12/01/27054/)

The only athletes who receive likely letters are those who are actively recruited by other D1 schools who need the letter to decline the early signing period with other schools. This typically happens in the fall.

Does anyone else have a transcript missing, even though you’re sure you sent one in?

I still have no been contacted for an interview but I am not too worried about that since hopefully they will understand it is their fault. I was wondering if anyone knew how to add information to your application since I just found out I am a national merit finalist

^I was wondering the same thing. How do we send updates for important awards or new information?

What did your interviewers ask and how was the interview? Oddly enough I have my alumni interview next monday; odd because at this point I thought that my interviewer had forgotten to contact me or that they were assigned to someone else (I got the email from Princeton on 1/30 saying who my interviewer was) and that I would not get an interview…

Just curious - some got their interviews early in Jan and some (including our son) are getting now. Does this mean the late interview calls are just to fulfill Princeton’s kind of obligation to offer interview for all applicants or the late calls are also in the same pool as the Jan interviewees.

@foreverdad: The strange timing of the interviews is most likely just due to the happenstance nature of how interviews are assigned. I interview for a peer school. The initial list of applicants was way beyond the # of interviewers’ open slots. I got all my assigned ones done and volunteered to do three more last weekend. Those were contacted last Monday. But it was totally random. I interviewed some of my originally assigned students in early Jan. Now I interview 3 in mid Feb. I can see how they could have been worried – but it was no reflection on them – just the numbers of applicants.

There’s really no logical thing to read into it.

@T26E4: Someone needs to give you Volunteer of the Year award already. Browsing the forums, I always find your replies very helpful and insightful. So thank you! We’re lucky to have you here…

^Seconded.

International applicant pools are arguably the most difficult/competitive and that SAT is far below the 25th percentile. I’d say it’s a very long shot for you, but you never know
