what was the cutoff for NC Commendated Scholar last year??

i know the NC National Merit Semi-Finalist was 213.

good job lebe... those are ALL correct!!

sweet, lebe, that's exactly what i got

I missed the last three non multipke choice math questions, but I think i got the rest of them right. They weren't too bad at all. The critical reading on the other hand was nasty.

whoa.. how did you remember..

Agreed with everything except.....#31...which I think could be either 11, 12, or 13...i think i put 11.

For future reference:

With those types of questions asking for "what could the third side be?"

Add the two other sides for the max

Subtract the two other sides for the min.

SO, 12 + 2 = 14

12 - 2 = 10

Meaning, the answer must be between 10 and 14.

Wait the answer was sultry. I also put arid, wouldn't that make more sense

I put 11 too.

How'd you guys remember all your answers

What do you think someone would get for 2 omit...3 wrong?

I don't really, just some of them.

sultry the exact defintion is hot and humid which is exactly what the sentence said, whereas arid is more dry.. but ya, this question was pretty tough, i debated for a loooong time on this one..

probably 750 sr022.

What was the question that had 6.6 as the answer?

Damn you collegeboard, messing with my head

i knew it wasn't arid because it said humid...which is the opposite of arid...arid means dry, it does not mean hot

i put 11 too. I reviewed that concept RIGHT before i left to school .. they always always have a question like that on every psat

and i put arid too but i think sultry is the exact meaning of hot and humid. . when i think of sultry i think of smokey eyes and that kinda 'sexy' makeup look with dark colors .. geez i need to stop reading magazines and pick up readers digest or something

i have 2 sentence completion questions:

animal eating plants and then it talked about the vice versa of that, mentioned Venus flytrap and how another plant eats small birds ands rodents .. what was the answer?
and the one with the noise that did not ______ but the workers were _______

"how do you remember?"

dude, its called a TI-83 list

The huge sums "bid" on for Davinci's painting "demonstrates" that bidders had large sums of money, "not neccesarily" *an interest" in art.

I kind of butchered this question , and prob I made even more grammar mistakes ... so do not rely on that - based on your memory what did you put for this question .... I think the answer is demonstrates because their is a plural subject, so you need demonstrate ...anyone agree/disagree???

it could be anything from 10.0000001 to 13.9999999
