Oh and the one about the candy paul had 24 large vs katie's 40 small candies, how many trades (3 small for every 1 large) before they had the same amt. . what was the answer?

I think it said INTEGER, so I don't know about that

I agree on that writing question vinny. I put demonstrates was wrong.

what was the question with the answer 165?

OH and the very 1st question in the writing section .. Hearing, unlike seeing, is blah blah

or is it Unlie seeing, hearing is blah blah blah

I agree with the "demonstration" problem.

The venus flytrap one was paradigm.

The triangle side one is all real numbers X such that 10<X<13.

And I got the same answers (except 31, which i put 11) as that girl above.

the candy was 4 i think

OH and the very 1st question in the writing section .. Hearing, unlike seeing, is blah blah

or is it Unlike seeing, hearing is blah blah blah

does anyone know what number that question with the I, II, and III type question? i believe it had the inequality a>b>c in the question.....what number is that? i think its number 28 (the last multiple choice before the grid-ins in math section2)

I made a chart for the candy...it was 4

what was the question for #29 and #35 where the answers are 6.6 and 36 respectively. and what was the answer the the first question on the writing?

There was a trick in the hearing.

One didn't have the "is" and would've messed up the sentence.

I got eight for the candy one...uh oh.

For those types of questions...look for middle ground

24 + 40 = 64 / 2 = 32...

Now, both of them had a net gain of 2...

SO, 40-32 = 8 divide by 2 = 4.

I put A (correct as is) for #1 on the writing section (Unlike vision, hearing blah blah)

The question to the one with 6.6 is something like
"Points a, b, c, d lie on a line (in that order). AB is 3.4, AC is 8, CD is 2. Find BD."

damn, trick question.

thanks sorry for the double post
I took the candy question literally.
If Paul has 24 candies, Katie has 40
If Paul has 23 candies, Katie has 37
Keep going . .
24 40
23 37
22 34
21 31
20 28
19 25
18 22
17 19
16 16
So . . 8 trades =

O man I have 32 e-mails now because of this thread! Haha good times though, now I can be the smart kid with all the answers at school tomorrow.

I forgot about the gains. bad me.

What gains . . i think i missed part of the question
