I can't really remember.

Isn't 165 the closest integer to 164.8?

I put "escape from confinement" but I changed it from "telling irregularity" at the last minute. I also put paradigm. Does anyone remember, I felt pretty secure about paradigm.

what was the word after paradigm?

we really need to find a way to take it together
i bet luDa didnt have to take this thing OR the sat and he's making millions of bucks just talking about sex

Isn't 165 the closest integer to 164.8?

Thats what I was thinking.

Like saying round to the nearest whole number!

exactly! the venus trap is not a pattern ... it contrated the usual pattern of animals eating plant to the unsual pattern of plants eating animals (i forgot the second word, but it fit) ......

given that you are rounding to the nearest whole number you would round up.

as far as the nearest integer goes...it would be down

try calculating it using the integer function on your graphing calculator (i did this AFTER the test just in case it could be considered cheating) and it came up with 164.

someone tell the word after paradigm please.

The word after paradigm was reverse I "think"...

there wasnt enough space for 164.8 so i would have rounded anyway, with or without the warning
i put telling irregularity, i didn't fight with that one at all though .. i mean .. i saw it and put it, none of the other answers looked good enough

What was the urge work on thing?

is there a way on this site or other site where we can patch all the answers up and put all the answers on a single sheet??? it would be much clearearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

if that's true, then I put paradigm too...I thought it was right.

wasn't it inverted or reversed or something?

sorry affie, but the answer was 165 ...... it said to round you answer to the nearest whole number ... 164.8 is closer to 165 than 164

You thought way too far into it affieboy. The nearest integer to 164.8, according to the college board for the SAT and PSAT, is 165.

it was something like that Nalcon .... whatever the word, it worked

maybe you can send them an email explaining your thought reasoning and possibly get it right

Now let's decide, "telling irregularity" or "escape from confinement?" I had telling irregularity but changed to the latter at the last minute, because it seemed more parallel to the other thing htey were describing something about a water ripple, and a disease hidden under the skin.

with integers you always round down...according to my ap calculus teacher AND my calculator

NOTE how they said the nearest integer as opposed to the nearest whole number. Some people might have assumed they were the same but I believe they bolded the integer portion of the question to draw attention to it.

do int(.8(220-14)) right now and you will get 164.
