Umm...

paraphrased "the farms "experienced" a hot summer and is now going through a sever drought."

Umm...

what do you guys think the cut off for NJ will be?

oh man
I did horrible
hooray

i thought the original sounded better but the "experienced a hot summer and" is in past so i followed with a past tense

I think the NJ cutoff will hover between 221-223

i kind of forgot the question .... so i really dont know

did anyone else get +4 As on the fix error section, or was that just me?

I can remember I got A on #1, #3, #5. Then I put A for a couple more. ouch.

Writing was a blur...I really don't remmeber anything

lol ... mj .... i thought the same thing.... in like all of the pratice tests I took ... their would be like 2 A's the most and usually in the middle/end ...... for this one ..... A was 1,3,5 , and one other I believe ......I was like oh god! i screwed up - but then after reviewing them I knew they were right.....woo-hoo! at least I am not alone

i remember A for 1,3,5 too

hope we're right

I think I did get a couple of A's in those first few... and maybe one more later on.

Does anybody remember what the mollify/assuage question was? I don't remember the choices or the question.

It was about some girl's parents trying to calm her down on the first day of school. "exacerbate" and some other word that means "calm down" was another answer choice.

too fatigued for writing

How hard would those of you who took the test today rank it when compared to the practice PSAT given by CollegeBoard in that packet?

chillaxin, imo, it was MUCH harder .. especially cr and math.... the vocab was MUCH harder, the passages were more mundane and harder to pay attention to (in my opinion, then the pratice tests) .... the Math was very hard.....I got a almost perfect score because I have been studying this test for a while now ... for many people though, I heard" But the PSAT math pratice test was so easy, this was so hard" .. Writing was pretty much the same - if you know it, you know it ....if you dont... well, then you dont! Sorry for the bad news =o

it is mollify/assuage - a person who is very good at that stuff put that

i also put - juxtapose, mithanathrope, paradigm, convention.. dissent

what was that one in writing about something shooting something and it is [between] the sun and the earth. i put no error - on second thought, could it have been inbetween?

there were a few critical reading questions - something like conceive or suppose and regulate and conduct

i did put a telling irregularity

but the one right before than one i skipped - very tricky, something like why does the author include the whole last paragraph about the doctor - to provide an example was prolly the answer tho

the one about the candy - 24 and 40 - I did it perfectly however i think i might have made a stupid mistake counting the "exchanges" and put 5 - was there an answer choice like that???

Ps. Was the last math question (something like x^2=5555...) was the answer 1111?

for the math problem, it was a grid-in - you had to come up with a response .... the answer was 4 btw ..

yep - the last grid-in was in fact 1111

Darn. So it's also harder than the PSAT last year then, I take it?
