for the passage "Lost in translation " who picked the choice that read " Greeks can not translate many sayings into English" and the choice that asked u to pick which statement referred closest to what the passage said?

honestly though, last year's math was signifcantly easier ... all of the problems were cut and dry (for many at least) .... their were like 4 hard problems totalled ...... thy is year however, their were a lot of tricky problems that if you did not know formulas or easy methods for solving, you were dead... this yr, the math curve will be 80,78,76,74,72,70 in my opinion based on talk in my school and here that "Math was hard"......... hopefully that will be the case, although maybe I was a little too generous .. writing is the one that will be brutal

Since it is singular .... the answer was A .. It is fixed

Dont remeber, sorry (but it did have an error I believe)

Sentecne 9 is crrect (the only one that made sense)

Haha - This one was so annoying ... it was the one that said experiances on a boat on the river or something like that - you had to cross out anything that said "words" .. they were trying to trick you here b/c language is usually associated with words.

The latina being underline answer was the one that was like cite a reference that will be explained throughout the passage (not exactly that wording, but that general message)

1 EDIT: i was thinking about something else
2 no error
3 after 9
4 I believe the answer was A..something about knowing what certain things mean, i forget the wording
5 a distinction that will be further explained in the passage

It wasn't rythm of people traveling. It was like the clues or signs that certain thingsin the river tell you. If anyone remembers all of the choices for the question about "break" on the blushing girl with the doctor in that passage, that'd be really cool.

does anyone remember the question on the second verbal section.....i forget what passage, but it had to do with the author who felt that his time on the river piloting steamboats. The question was about the last part of the passage about the doctors, and what that did to the author's arguement...the choices were something like it identifued (im not sure the correct word) with the author's unique situation, it provided an example of a different viewpoint, it showed a different mindset, it justifyed a statement made earlier in the passage......i forget the other one, and im sure ive butchered the actual choices, but i was between three of them and i eventually chose the one about the author's unique situation.....can someone give me some insight?

Does anyone know why it takes so long to get our scores back? The SAT has an essay, and two more sections and they get it back in 2.5 weeks. Why does it take 2 months to get the PSAT scores back?!

sorry aprilstar.....i think that is the wrong q!!
a friend of mine sed he was between the answer about it offering a different viewpoint, and providing an example of a mindset....hes a pretty smart kid thats why i sorta doubted my choice

I think it is sheer volume. Every junior in this country (and many outside this country) and a large number of sophomores all take the PSAT on one of the 2 dates it is offered in October. The SAT is offered many more times a year so you don't get the same number of people sitting that exam at any one date.
