I haven’t told any higher ups about the Yale interview because 1) it’s a done deal and 2) I don’t want complications as Yale needs to assess QB in 2 weeks. I just posted here so that you guys can be more prepared than I was for the worst cases.

Anyways has anyone done their MIT interview? J had mine on oct. 19 but MIT called me yesterday saying they didn’t get my interview form yet

I did my MIT interview about a month ago, but my interviewer didn’t submit it until four days ago. You can go on the MyMIT site and put in that you conducted your interview, so they’ll know that they just have to wait for the interviewer to get back to them.

Alright! Thanks. It seems my interviewer just submitted the report

Anyway, for people who are matching Yale, have you gotten your Eli account yet? They said they woul send out Eli account info within a week of common app submission but I’ve heard nada!

Grover: I submitted ssr to MIT. Isn’t that a requirement?

Can someone please confirm if we need to send the ssr or not? It is not a requirement on the QB page and we kind of already sent it through our QB app, right? I called them like a month ago and MIT said QB app would suffice the ssr.

All I can tell you is that with Yale and Princeton, SSR is required (part of the Common App which both schools require).
I think it depends on the school…

I’ve gotten nothing from Brown… @xxjinax: Yale didn’t contact me for interview. They don’t require an interview, and you’re only contacted if they can find an alumnus near you. I live in a rural area, so that’s probably why I wasn’t contacted.

Princeton offered me an interview, but I declined it. Mainly cause it was too far away and there was no way I’d get there. Was that a bad choice?

We are eight days away from dec 1st!! I don’t know about you guys but I have been unable to do supplements for any other school because of this deadline :0
