Official Questbridge National College Match 2010-2011

gadgor- dont think like that- they give a time frame, many times servers crash due to severe overload of traffic. IF QB does not have more then adequate servers for this day each year then this will occur. Many companies have this problem with their severs.
Sometimes the host has a problem in which case they shut down their servers until they fix it. Technology is not perfect-

I placed an extension request… you think I should make another one in case?

Their server is located in Sunnyvale which is where Yahoo is located.

@TrackStar no. I don’t think so

one request will most likely do the job- the server that hosts that part of the site seems to be working as the front page loads with no problem. it is just the application must be on a different server.

their server is located in california -…-, you can google it

anyways, im at 449 words in my bio essay… how many more should i go… its kinda hard to think :/

@gadgor: Just because Questbrige warned us about it doesn’t mean they said anything stating that if the server crashed they wouldn’t accept those apps. I’m sure we’ll get an extension if it isnt resolved by midnight.

I should have NEVER took that nap! My application is complete I just need to press the submit button =/!

I know! All I need to do is copy and paste. Procrastination. This is a lesson learned.

I’m applying for Questbridge (but the website has been down for a while now) and I was wondering if anyone knew if I could also apply to one of their partner colleges through early action.

@2AM2PM

You can as long as you’re not participating in the match process.

@nne718

Lol “Location: Must Leave Georgia”

I AGREE!

I’m selecting non-binding schools for the match process, so it should be okay, right?

lol Not to be rude but this is why they said to get your apps in before the day of the deadline…

@Shauna, Procrastination is the story of my life !

@trackstar93
how did you guys request an extension? did you guys just email them?

oh well. time to eat cheesecake!

@2AM2PM

No it’s not okay. As long as you’re participating in the College Match process, regardless of whether you’re choosing binding or non-binding schools, you cannot apply to any school via EA or ED

I’m in california & still can’t access the page. But anyways last year they extended the deadline. This message was found on last year’s forum:

"Posted on QB main page:

Due to slow servers caused by heavy traffic, we will make extensions available by request to students and educators who were unable to complete their National College Match applications or recommendations before the September 30 deadline. We apologize for any difficulties you have experienced. Thank you for your patience.
