I saw that universities like Princeton require supplements and the Common Application. Does that mean the essay in the Common Application is also sent to these colleges through the College Match? I don’t want to have two same essays submitted.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think you just copy the same essays you used for the QB application and paste them into the common app essay spaces.

Hey guys I have a concern and wondered if someone here could help me.
Well I finished everything on questbridge and was waiting till the last day to submit it (damn procrastination) and when i would look at the bottom of the “my locker” page my sent documents would show up.

But now, after the server malfunctions on the site my documents no longer appear there, so I was just wondering if you think they still have them or did they manage to lose them somehow??

@ongbakbak you mean the faxes?

QuestBridge Wrote the following:
“We have temporarily disabled viewing of the “Faxes Received” section of the Locker page to ease the load. All faxes will continue to be processed normally.”

Yeah thats what i was talking about.
Thats a relief.
Thanks JohnRevka.

Asking this again:

We can edit after we submit and re-submit before the deadline? How does that work?

I’m pretty sure we can. That’s what I did, and the changes show up.

just a quick question: in the Transcript section, does the “HL” option refer to only IB classes, or does it mean honors classes in general? because I took both honors and AP, but I’m not sure if it just means IB Higher Level classes.

It means honors. The “IB” option is for all IB classes.

About the additional info section:

My parents have health problems, and they are unable to afford medical treatment. Should I write this in the additional info section? It doesn’t decrease our income though.

if we are chosen up to be a finalist, can we reuse our teacher/counselor letters of rec for other schools? or would we have to ask our teachers and counselor to do the letters again?

@u2tiffany, I believe the recommendation are located in the websites… I don’t know if those would work for your other schools… I’ll just ask them to do it again if I’m not selected for questbridge

Anyone have an idea about this question?

oh ok. thanks james =]
and @Luminouzz, i would put it in if i were you. it clarifies your situation better. it doesnt hurt to put it in.

Guys…what if you are planning on taking SAT Subject Tests in November and you were selected as a finalist and your colleges require them . What would you do? Should I opt out my ranking that I suppose to summit before October 22?

I have the same problem :/

I’m glad I have someone having the same problem (don’t get me wrong, not that I’m happy in your trouble) because I don’t know what to do. My school just put QB in morning announcement only a week before its deadline. I registered for SAT reasoning test way before I know I will apply through QB because I thought I can do it Nov or even Dec. It really sucks if we can’t do anything about it.

well, this is what it says on the application:
QuestBridge will accept any test scores that you receive prior to the National College Match application deadline of September 30, 2010. If you expect to receive scores after September 30, please list your testing date(s) in the application, leaving the score fields blank. If you are selected as a finalist, be sure to request that the College Board and/or ACT forward your latest scores to all of the partner colleges you have included on your College Match rankings list.

On my transcript, the entry date says 8/28/2006. I took two classes at my high school eighth grade year. On the QB application, should I put 8/28/2006 as initial date attended?
