Official Questbridge National College Match 2010-2011

Finalist! I had just completed a tour of Garmin and a 1.5 Hour lecture on UAV’s, which are pretty amazing, when I thought I’d drop by McD’s and check my email on my phone. All the patrons looked at me puzzlingly when I jumped in the air. This has been the best birthday ever.

No email yet.

FINALIST!!! I’m so stoked!

I’m a finalist! I’m so excited haha

Finalist. The e-mail was sent at 3:02 PM…
I checked my e-mail and turned off the computer at 3:01 PM before turning it back on and checking now.
I thought that was interesting.

Congrats to everyone else who is a finalist :).

:(
This sucks, I thought I’d get it to be honest.

LA;SKJDFLJS;LJ I didn’t get Siemens semifinalist, but I got QuestBridge finalist!!! What the hell. This day has been so weird.

finalist!! congrats, everyone :)

Finalist!
Question: In the RD round, if I’m applying to a QB partner school, do I have to forward the QB application? Or would the Common App suffice? I feel like I didn’t do a great job on the QB app so I don’t really want the colleges to see it.

Let’s say I didn’t get matched but I apply RD, will being QB Finalist help on the application? Is it the same as getting, say, a Siemens/Intel STS award? Considering the National College Match admit rate is about 40%… would winning QB Finalist still give me a boost?

Finalist!!

LovelyBones, I would definitely list it. I do think it is helpful. I don’t think it is comparable to a Siemens/Intel STS award.

FINALIST! I’m in shock… I honestly thought I wouldn’t get it because we have a really weird situation. I’m so incredibly happy!!!

Congratulations! Finalist too. I still cant believe it =)

Nope. :frowning:
Good job to those who are, and good luck to everyone in the college admissions process.

Still haven’t heard anything:(
if my transcript fax still has the delete option does that mean they didn’t receive it ??

I have heard nothing as of yet. I’m so nervous!

Finalist! But… I think I want to opt out of the Match round. Is this possible/how do I do this? (At 50k and Asian I’m concerned that my chances of being Matched are very low, and I’d be better off going SCEA).

sinflower – I thought you had to opt out beforehand? If you didn’t rank any colleges, that counts as opting out, I think…

I changed my mind in the interim period. I did submit a Match Agreement.
