A Lot of aid Sigh

I don’t think decisions will be released tomorrow only because in previous years, the Vandy admissions blog has posted the day before notifying that they will be available. Hopefully they will be out early this week!

Vanderbilt why you do this to me. I just want to know WHEN the decisions are coming out so I’m prepared.
I feel like they either are releasing decisions tomorrow or actually on April 1st. I don’t see them releasing them next weekend because it’s Easter…I’m hoping for tomorrow
I hate myself for getting hopeful… A week ago I was positive I’d be rejected and I was fine with that…
Same @anothermuggle
I know I don’t have the stats to get in but Vandy is my dream school
@123undergrad Looking at the blog, your prediction seems to be supported by the patterns of the last two years. But looking at EDII for this year, for instance, they posted the time they’d post decisions the day of. So I wouldn’t say it’s impossible that they post the time they’ll be releasing decisions the same day they release them. So I definitely wouldn’t rule out tomorrow.
@coffeine Haha the struggle is real. What are your stats, if you don’t mind my asking? I have a 2120 SAT and a 3.83 UW GPA. Lots of AP classes though, and some great letters of rec and essays. But at the end of the day, it’s still a 2120 SAT.
Are decisions always posted on the weekends for Vandy?
SAME @anothermuggle Now I have my hopes up again when I’m 99.9% sure I’m getting rejected because my stats aren’t there
Next week is going to be stressful! I have Duke, Colby, Hamilton, Colgate, Wesleyan, and possibly even Vandy. Let’s not forget about Ivy Day also…ugh
same here @coffeine
I have a 30 cumulative ACT score, and that pretty much kills my chances. All IB classes with a 3.9 UW GPA. I am 16/684 people in my class. REC letters are good, but my essays are cheesy (I’m cheesy lol).
Eh well maybe at least one of us will get waitlisted or accepted… and if not, at least we can be rejected together! Solidarity!
It really is @Nyulsbae, especially since for me that is the last week before spring break
Good luck @anothermuggle and @suprstar16 please post if you get in
@ProbDeferred You apply (and are accepted into) one of the four schools at Vanderbilt. It’s too late to change now; if accepted, I imagine you will simply have to try to work out applying for a transfer to engineering after you take a semester /year of classes. FTR, the criteria for acceptance into an engineering program is generally the highest bar at most colleges.
Also, it was mentioned by @jackrabbit14 a few pages back that admissions finished making the decisions on Thursday and Friday. I don’t see why they would hold off another week if all the decisions have been made. However, I don’t know where they got this information…
@anothermuggle exactly! If they have the decisions, why not release them?
They didn’t announce when they’ll release decisions on Twitter, and they usually do that a few days before they actually post them
@coffeine Don’t say that! I just got in to Notre Dame with a 30 ACT. I honestly rejected myself as soon as I hit submit on my application, but things worked out! Remember, colleges know that there is a real person behind those stupid numbers! Good luck!
