Is that really a sign? Have you heard that?

Yes, some people on this forum have applied for FA, yet they don’t have the “undergrad 2016-2017” label in their FA tab

Ugh so did that just appear for you? I have the first part showing but not he second.

I would think if someone didn’t apply for financial aid, there wouldn’t be anything under the financial aid tab. And I’m sure everyone’s portal says Fall 2016. I think you may be looking for signs that just aren’t there.

Sorry, I’m confused. What are you all talking about? I can see the ‘‘undergrad 2016-2017’’ in my financial aid tablet and also ‘’“Fall 2016 College of Arts and Science”. What does that mean?

@mtmarmom did you apply for FA?

According to Vanderbilt’s Admission website the decision notification date will be April 1st.

@MamaBear555 Go back a couple of pages and there are people that applied for FA yet they don’t have the “undergrad 2016-2017” in their FA tab.

@bossmoss20 I don’t think that means they won’t be out before, the same page said February 15th for ED2, and my friend got in on the 12th.
Besides, last year they were out around the 22nd.

So do you guys really think Vanderbilt released decisions on a Sunday last year, because that seems a bit unusual. Maybe they released Saturday and notified students the next day?

I can see both the ‘Fall 2016’ and ‘undergrad 2016-2017’ on my portal. Does this mean anything? (If it does at all)

Perhaps this is a dumb question, but does anyone know if the intended major on the common app question was binding?

Like I put that I wanted to enter the college of arts and sciences for chemistry, but I was wondering if it was possible to change my major to something in the engineering school should I be accepted. Is that possible?

@NyuIsBae I got the undergrad 2016-2017 but not the Fall 2016 one.

@XAtlas It should be on the first page when you log in!

@ProbDeferred
I heard you need a certain gpa and courses to change schools within the college. It’s harder than changing majors within the same school, but still people do this all the time. I also plan to change from Chemistry to Chemical Engineering (IF I get in)

Why doesn’t anyone believe that decisions are coming out tomorrow?

@Aralis Damn thanks, I just skeptical of my own acceptance because of 4 (Ed1 and ED2) acceptances from my school.

@inshm2016
Cuz they aren’t

@oawnstar How do u know?

ED2 decisions this year came out on Feb 13. Last year they came out on Jan 30. Things seem to be delayed.
