or, as was obvious, to state where you'll be attending.

kyle posts your stats since you already know you got in. I wanna see em =]

Heh, I've made a point not to. (People have asked me that many times before, funnily enough.)

=)

You applied SCEA Kyle? :)

No, I applied RD.

sigh

i am having trouble sleeping just knowing that the decisions will come out today. I don't know why i'm so nervous when i am pretty much expecting rejection... This school day is going to be so slow...

Hmmmmm :D

@azngamer: Dont worry too much. Its only natural to be nervous...

i know by posting this im kinda defeating my purpose of cleaning up the thread but....
please dont clutter this thread, alot of threads have alot of "nervous talk" on it. That should be for another thread or something.

Hello everybody,

If it makes you guys feel better and less nervous, I'm going to post the exceptional statistics I found from this year's SCEA thread

SCEA Class of 2012
Accepted: 31
Deferred: 15
Rejected: 22
Total SCEA on CC: 68
% Acceptance: 45.588%
% Accepted/Deferred: 67.65%

Just shows how strong CC'ers are.

lol, it really doesnt. rejected applicants are less inclined to post in that thread than those who were accepted.

i have dwindling hope after being rejected from berkeley (oos). but i did get into MIT...
i'm confused.

^Don't forget that the UC's don't practice affirmative action. If you get into MIT as a Hispanic, you'll have a good shot at stanford too.

Also, UCB hates OOS. Its admit rate for out of state is probably 5%, as is the proportion of admits from out of state...

So you're chance of getting in there is roughly 0.05*0.05=0.025.

does anyone know what email address the decision comes from? I want to make sure my spam filter lets it through (it's blocked other decisions)...

You can try unblocking the whole "stanford.edu" domain.
