I've attended the Rice Math Tournament for all 4 years of high school and I placed 1st in Geometry this year with a perfect score. I don't know if that was too late for consideration though since it was in February. I placed 3rd in both 10th grade and 11th grade.
I placed 12th in the nation in chess and I've been in the orchestra since 5th grade. I'm also Mu Alpha Theta president. I also participated in Academic Decathlon and Science Club, although I wasn't as involved in those two as I was in my other ec's.

<p>nice, I like how you identify you’re ethnicity as “American”. That’s how I’ve been brought up, but apparently sometimes for decisions such as college admissions, our fate is conditional on the color of our skin (i.e white, black, yellow and brown, with an emphasis on the latter two, if you will) and other vague criteria that sometimes take away from the real issue at hand, namely academic and extracurricular competency.</p>
