*Question: with half tuition, is that for just a year, or for all four, or what?

Half-tuition is renewable each year. You must maintain a 3.2 GPA.

hahahaaa this is the funniest thing.
i got waitlisted.

S accepted at BU--Engineering. Can't figure out whether any merit awards were given or not. Will have to call or wait for the official letter. He says he'll talk with the CC about it--maybe he can figure it out. He's also getting the CC to help find out if USC wants to give him merit aid.

accepted to Boston University... College of Engineering..international so dont know abt scholarships yet..

WAITLISTED...

How is that f'in possible it makes me so angry...

I have like a bazillion schools that I got into that are 100 times better than BU but I get waitlisted by one school that I didn't care about? aaah.

I actually declined their waitlist because it made me so ****ed off and I won't go their anyways even if I did get in.

CA_girl: Where else did u get in?

I got into...
UCSD
UCDavis
UCSC
Scripps College
Bryn Mawr College
UW-Madison
Smith College
Mount Holyoke College
Case Western Reserve University
University of Rochester

And some other schools... some state schools as well.

CAgirl,

Just curious. Why did you apply to so many schools?

CA_girl: Congrats!! What's ur first choice?

gahhhh, I'm so frustrated. I got a big envelope in the mail from BU today and I got all excited, hoping that maybe it was an honors invite or info about a scholarship....but it wasn't. It was just another letter saying congrats on your acceptance and there was some info on costs and open houses and such.

what is an honors invite. someone said that since my son was offered University Scholar that he would be in the honors program? I don't thing the admission letter said anything about that? Is this something they send separate?

So acceptances came in the mail today??

Mine isn't posted online and I haven't gotten anything in the mail. Gah!!
