<p>That's obviously a reasonable application, but do you really think you're good enough for Duke? I mean, a 790? Unless you have a really good excuse for a 790, I think you're in pretty serious trouble for a school like Duke.</p>

<p>Edit: I suppose if your time in Chechnya results in a Nobel Peace Prize, you might have a shot.</p>

<p>Damn, you got so lucky that you got in with that 35, you musta been sweating cuz of that. LOL at Jewish African American, Puerto Rican, and Irish. I don't think I've ever seen a Jew with any single one of those ethnicities.</p>

<p>Since this thread already went to hell, this is some comfort I can offer for all those who will be rejected (myself certainly included:) Community College is a LOT cheaper!</p>
