thanks for the kind words brenner and good luck with brown! im not so sure i still want to go to harvard but that may be the offended ego in me talking. in any case, congratulations on gtown ea.

silver, the ACT is based on a scale from 1-36 and is made up of 4 subsections, each with its own score. The sections are English, Math, Reading, and Science. You get a score between 1 and 36 on each section, and then the 4 subscores are essentially averaged to give you a composite score. A 35 on the ACT is approximately equivalent to a 1560-1590. However, SAT does not test science or writing skills (well, the old one doesn't), so the conversion between the 2 scores isn't seamless.

Chris- don't worry about anything. The reason you can't find out online is because you don't have a ssn and you live far away so the mail wouldn't be there yet. Don't stress about anything that you have no power over right now. You'll find out soon enough. Good Luck!

I'm not at home so my mom opened the mail for me, but she said it was small envelope. Just the acceptance letter and the thing to send back saying your decision.

ok so it's just a small envelope.. not a package with diff things in it..
my other ones looked like an application brochure and they were fedexed over
