<p>Ironically, UVa accepted more students than ever from my school. On average, they accept 5, or so; however, this year they accepted 15. That is a lot coming from a school in Southern Virginia. Although, Duke accepted 5 of our students, and other selective colleges accepted more, too: Harvard, MIT, W&M, and UofR; maybe our class was just very strong.</p>

<p>hmm...i have a question, how prestigious is uva engineering b/c it seems like it's not as good as its lsa, easier to get into and profs doesn't give students individual attention.
