Reflection
Strengths: Well-rounded student athlete. Academic Rigor. Teachers love his level of engagement across the board.
What you tried to focus on in your application - any hooks you tried to make for yourself: Not sure this applies. But I can say there was nothing “slick” about his application. No package per say.
Weaknesses: Has them, believe me.
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Overall… right in there in terms of scores, etc. Doesn’t hurt that he’s a boy. And undoubtedly I’d say there was some good old fashioned luck involved.
Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Accepted: Colgate, Hamilton Rejected: Johns Hopkins. Still outstanding: Amherst, Tufts, Georgetown and Trinity.
