mustangsally09- O please, your scores look like GOD compared to mine (lol), my SAT was 1650, and my ACT which I didn’t submit was 23, so as you can see. Scores don’t matter! It’s about the women behind the numbers! :)

superwoman-thanks! that makes me feel so much better!!
these freakin smarties with their ACT scores of 35’s and such…pshh.
haha

hehe, yeaa, I feel the same way! But I think I’m going to BMC, I’m just waiting on my #1 to reply: Spelman College. :)

oh nice! Good luck! Bryn Mawr is my reach school. i got into Baylor and Southwestern University, and i’m waiting on my Tx. A&M. (i live in the great state of tejas lol) if i get into Bryn i’ll prolls go there, just 'cause its so much better than all my others.

i know someone prob. already asked this…but how likely is it to actually get in if you’re put on the waiting list?

I read on one of the posts that last year 5 got in from the waiting list, but one of them got in by writing a letter to the admissions office telling them how much they wanted to go :)

p.s. Are you a minority? b/c I think that helped me quite a bit during the app. process, although there were other factors considered of course!

HAHAHA. i’m screwed but i did read in the Barron’s college book that in 07 or 08 out of 200 that were on the waitinglist 20 got in…hmm…

no unfortunately i’m very white. is it bad that i wish i was? lol

hmm…idk if i would be able to picture myself nething else lol, doesnt seem like I benefit from it but Bryn Mawr is pretty dedicated to diversity :)

Good luck! Just show them how much you love them! I applied on gut instinct, wrote my essay in the middle of my religion class the day before the deadline and sent in everything the day of the deadline soo, I think fate brought me to BMC, maybe thats where Im meant to be!

maybe there’s no other hick texans there! that would help in the diversity department! lol

ya, i read on here that some of the waitlisted cats wrote letters to bryn. so i did too
it was basically a love letter…

oh and Congrats on getting accepted! i don’t think i ever said that lol

Thanks! but I hope you get in!! (fingers crossed)

thanks! :D
