<p>Does Vassar ever release an official date for decisions, or does it maintain its discretion (applicants 'notified by early April'). </p>

<p>To internationals, they send decisions by email as well as post…(but, i really do not know for the US citizens…and yes, when I called to the admission office, i was said that they send the decisions exactly on the 1st of April…</p>
<p>I have been told that they inform you of their decision by April 1st, but some claim they come around March 30.</p>

<p>I spoke to them today…They needed my taxes send for 2009…
They said it would come regular mail.

<p>If the notification process is the same as it was for EDI and II, everyone will find out by snail-mail. International students will be notified by e-mail, but sometimes they send the e-mails after snail-mail. (I got a letter on the 12th while some international students didn’t find out until the 15th)</p>

<p>I know that Barnard sends out huge express envelopes for those who are accepted. Is it the same with Vassar, or can I not tell by the envelope?</p>

<p>I know that ED1 received financial packages - they came around Christmas time, if I remember corretly - so I assume that ED2 also received theirs already.</p>

<p>I’m probably not the best person to ask; I’m was accepted as a QuestBridge National College Match Scholar.
However, my friend will also be going to Vassar next year, and as far as I know her financial aid was excellent and completely met her need.</p>
