Congrats! Location? Notification method? Time?... We'd all really appreciate it..

Congrats! What school did you get accepted into?

Congrats!!

Congrats! I guess this means SU is mailing the decisions out now...?

D got an email today--accepted to Newhouse (Magazine).

SAT: 630CR 560M 680W
GPA: 3.76 UW 4.14 W

I got accepted, too. Have all the scholarships gone out? That'd be a bummer.

I assume not getting an email means I didn't get in.

Fantastic.

Wait - we haven't gotten an email or a letter either -why are they emailing some and postal notifying others? Ungh...anyone out there get a rejection email/letter yet?

Accepted via email. Anyone get scholarship notices with acceptance?

I assume this means I got rejected as well.

Oh well. Such is life. 2/2 rejections so far. I hate my life.

I just got accepted via e-mail to dual Arts & Sciences/ Newhouse.

Son got email that he was accepted to the Engineering School today. He would do bioengineering or chemical engineering. He has not heard from all his colleges yet so no decision at this point.

620CR 790M 630W
SATII: 750 Chem 740 Math Level 2
GPA 3.7UW Not sure about weighted average. Lots of AP and Honors classes.

I just wanted to encourage those who have not had an e-mail yet- hang in there. Check the threads for this time last year. Perhaps Syracuse sends notifications out in batches over the month of March.

jdasmom: you son's stats are very similar to my D's (engineering also - chemical). Any word on merit scholarship - that is one of the main reasons D applied to Syracuse.

just got an email... got into the arts & sciences IR Program...anyone else get into the IR program?

RatedPG, no, nothing at all about merit scholarships. Just an acceptance letter. He did get a letter a couple weeks ago inviting him to be in a scholarship competition that meets on campus in April. We will have to wait and see about other scholarships and financial aid from Syracuse. A couple other engineering schools have given him merit scholarships already (RPI in particular was generous in their financial aid package with merit aid and grants). And he has a few more schools to hear from.

Got an email today, was accepted to the undergrad IR program.

Stats were 2200 SAT, ~ UW 3.6 GPA

If you didn't get an email, don't worry. I'm betting that they email everyone regardless of what decision they made.

Accepted as well into Engineering program. SATs were 1930, GPA 3.45. Email.

Accepted today (email)

Congrats Everyone!!!

Got accepted to the LC Smith School of Engineering
Woooo...I may or may not go to Syracuse, but it was the first school I have heard from. It was by email and it was a link to another site with the main letter that theyll probably send. no scholarship information
