<p>I applied to school of management, which I think was probably the biggest reason I didn’t get in. My friend who goes there now told me that if you’re a girl and apply to the school of engineering, you’re basically in. (she had the same SAT score as me, and was in all regular classes). But anyways, I was pretty dissappointed I didn’t get in–I was really looking forward to Binghamton, but. What are ya gonna do, right?!</p>

I just received an email from binghamton that says ‘Congratulations! You are the one we want!’ and then there was some video…I am a bit confused on this matter really-It was just a video, no official letter of acceptance or anything accompanied it. Moroever I checked my status on BU Brain service and nothing was really updated.</p>
<p>^ I received that e-mail too and I received my letter on Saturday. If you didn’t receive your acceptance packet yet, it might’ve been lost in the mail. I’d generally assume that if you got the e-mail, then you’re in. There might be a possibility that it was sent in error… but I’d think it was more likely that your acceptance hasn’t arrived yet. Call the admissions office tomorrow just to be sure. :)</p>
<p>But Dd also rec’vd the green packet on Sat…a day before her birthday. We are thrilled- sounds like you’re in too! Great job- I am (pretty) sure they wouldn’t have sent it if you didn’t get accepted.</p>
