Oh, I don’t use Twitter by the way. :D

Chuck Palahniuk rocks! And if you don’t use twitter how would you add them?

I had to post because I saw someone mention HIMYM which is the best show known to man.
I also watch scrubs and the big bang theory too!

so good!

Calcium, you’re awesome for watching awesome TV shows.

Thoughts on the newest season of Scrubs? I’m thinking it’s really gone down the drain.

Agree with DC on Scrubs. Its a real shame. Hard to feel new when its been through 9 seasons. Feels like they’re just recycling old material.

I’m a diehard Scrubs fan and I gotta say compared to the other seasons, this one does not compare. Although, I have to say I’ll give it a slight curve because they’re transitioning and that’s a pretty hard thing to do when you only have so many episodes to deal with abrupt, major changes.

Still, each episode in this season has gotten better from each previous one and is regaining some of its old luster.

By the way, I LOVE Cole. I think he’s going to be a lot more lovable when the show goes on such as Kelso.

House > Scrubs

Please, comparing those two shows are like comparing apples and oranges.

Thank you Dramacratic!
I know a lot of people are disappointed, but I agree with sleepyz in saying that we should give this season a shot. Also, YES cole is amazing!

Does any one here watch Chuck? or the Office?

p.s. maybe we should start our own thread about TV shows? haha :)

I’m in LOVE with Chuck! I used t be a die-hard Heroes fan, too, but that quickly dissipated once the third season ended (it’s in the 4th now, right?). In any case, Chuck is amazing.

Hahah, Calcium. TV shows doooo seem to be the highlight of discussion around here…

Well it just shows that Wesleyan is related to great TV shows…if that makes sense lol…

4 more days till Chuck. Can’t wait to see Chuck do some more kungfu.

Yo! I am an international student and would like to know that do I need to fill the Freeman Scholar Form if I am not from any of those countries enlisted in the program? Will I still be considered for any financial assistance? Coz I felt that peer recco and supplement question was a part of everyone’s application. I just sent my application and of couse, I dint send the Freeman form. Wesleyan doesn’t have a supplement essay? right?

@dramacratic

I’ll have graduated by the time you get on campus, but since you’re a self described science nerd, you should look into living in science hall after frosh year if you get in.

It’s a gem.

I should know. I helped build it to where it stands today. Metaphorically speaking of course.

RockHardAbs, sorry i don’t know, but good luck. Try your own thread!

Heyy I’m from Idaho. I’m applying EDII… ahhhh I hate waiting!

i’m going to jack that advice from you ridethecliche :)

hey, i’m katie (actually katia, but english-speakers can’t usually say it right. so much for my parents trying to find an ‘international’ name…) from vienna, austria! i’m half austrian, half american, and i’ve lived in london (twice), madrid (ahhhh), frankfurt, vienna (technically twice), and chicago (that’s where i was born, but we moved out when i was 9 months. did spend soph year at New Trier HS though!).
anybody here do the full IB Diploma?? how many points did you get?

i’ve also applied RD for Wesleyan, i’m so excited! i really loved the campus when i visited - especially the ice rink woot! any other skaters here? plus my tour guide was sick - he had on some beautiful kicks, but i swear he was on speed or something: the guy could just NOT be still, it was insane! i really liked that he made an effort to everybody individually, though, and the people touring with me were proper chill.
moreover, i was there just as Bates came in for a lacrosse game, a girls’ football game was underway (probably for you it’s soccer, but it really is football …and colour is spelled with a u. just by the way.) and Andrus Field (?) was getting set up for an american football game, so there was a lot of excitement in the air!! and the autumn colours were absolutely goooorgeous.

@ qwerty19 - where in the chi are you from?
@ Arkliufz - best of luck with the scholarship!!! 1 a country is really stiff!

ps: i’m just gonna have to say: Europe > EC > WC :D

Europe is pretty frickin sweet…

So lets be fair ;)

WC>Europe>EC

Happy Now?

Nahhhh i agree with katie here :)
