Didn't get accepted

My son didn't get accepted and is very disappointed, does anyone no if there is a waiting list or an appleals process or something to still get in. DO they grant interviews?

He has good scores and grades 1370 SAT 3.7 GPA 3.9?? weightGPA

any suggestions!!
