<p>when I saw this thread, my heart almost stopped cause I thought decisions went out and I didn't know about it. >.<</p>

<p>anyways, either the people who frequent CC are the elite end of the applicant pool, or Duke is going to see a lot of obnoxious SAT-ers this year. </p>

Interview: Didn't get an interview
Why Duke?: Everything about duke. I talked about the engineering helping society for major choice (a good choice based on an email talking about that from Duke) and then the environment of the school being elite, having lots of school spirit, lots of tradition, tons of stuff.
Comments: First choice by far but who knows. oh well waiting for the letter. not taking SAT's probably hurts me though...</p>

<p>^Nope- I didn't submit subject tests either for pratt (so long as you submit your act with writing you're good).</p>

<p>I applied after the deadline and got contacted for the interview...but we were never able to meet because I had rehearsals and his children had the flu! lol It was a bad few weeks...but he was very nice and told me that it would not affect my admissions decision at all. :)</p>

this is an english board. we use english specific words.
