Official Regular Decision Thread

About 45 minutes from Worcester in the boston area and nothing in the mail from HC Saturday. Nbd cause I forgot to fill out finaid…

I live in MA too… about 20 min from Worcester and I haven’t heard back yet. :(

Daughter accepted. Envelope in the mail yesterday. Financial aid package should arrive in about 5 days. She was invited to participate in their Passport Program from 8-1 through 8-21. Anyone else and does anyone know much about it? She is thrilled.

i am going to be stalking the mailman tomorrow!

Congrats on your daughter’s acceptance. Here is a link to the passport website, they have all the detailed info there.

Still waiting for my best friend’s decision letter, should be in the mail tomorrow!

Is there an accepted students web link that you receive when you get the letter?

i think the letter is in my mailbox right now. im so nervous to go home…i just think ill be denied for some reason

are the accepted letters small or big?

Accepted today in Virginia :)

It’s a large package

murphy15–congratulations on being accepted by an absolutely outstanding college. I know my daughter will hit our mailbox as soon as she gets home from school today to see what her status is. I hope you had a chance to visit Holy Cross to get a feel for the school to determine if it is a fit for you.

KY Crusader–Please let us know how she does…Keeping my fingers crossed for you here in New Jersey!!! BEST OF LUCK

My son accepted here today - received mail in NJ. He is in BC though too and I think that may rank ahead right now…good luck to all

Accepted today - very happy - but no merit money.

Tough call now - BC, Villanova (small scholarship) or Holy Cross - or full ride to Fordham.

Any suggestions?

bostonvillanova—merit $ comes a week later …i believe! Congrats to you!

My friend was waitlisted :(

Congrats to all who got in!! Holy Cross doesn’t give out merit scholarships (unless for the music or classics program) but they do give 100% needs met financial aid. If you got a full ride to Fordham, you may also get one to Holy Cross just based on your efc.

Youser name is correct no merit money (unless classics or music) but HC is generous with grants.

Daughter #2 just called me to say she had checked the mail and received her thick envelope with her acceptance from Holy Cross!

no mail in chicago from hc again today !!!grrrr

Accepted! Letter arrived today in NJ. I am somewhat disappointed that I was not accepted into Pre Med. Also accepted to Colgate, Lafayette, and Boston College. Top 10% in my class, many AP’s, with ACT score 32. Can anyone give me advice about options about pursuing Pre Med at Holy Cross without being accepted into that program.
