@mountaingeek I was accepted without an interview.
i interviewed & it went pretty well
but idk if that’s what got me in lmao they supposedly don’t put much weight on interviews
For those guy who did not get in, don’t get upset! I’ve been rejected by Penn, UCLA, WashU and waitlisted by Notre Dame, there’s a time I went so depressed with no confidence. Just believe in yourself and everything will be fine! It’s not because you are not good enough to get in a specific university, what matters for the school is fitness. Hope all of you good luck in the upcoming decisions!

Also received the Trustee Distinguished Scholarship for $25.5k/yr, and that made my decision for me. Hello Rice.
Denied. Well.
Can any admitted guys login into the ESTHER?
Another rejection. Wow…how to deal with all the rejections…My daughter is first in her class of 600 seniors, has a 4.0 UW and a will have a 4.4 weighted (was 4.65 when she applied), SAT of 2260 for the first one, 1530 for the second one. She has been rejected everywhere but our state school and Cal Poly. I’m glad we at least got those, but it is so disheartening after all the work she went through to apply. Her essays were good, too!

@trainsarenice URM is a hook. In fact, it’s been a particularly huge hook this year.
Accepted with a Trustee Distinguished Scholarship!!
if only I weren’t an Asian male this whole process would be so much easier
@webuyourselves Doubt you can get into ESTHER yet, us ED people didn’t get ESTHER info until about 2 weeks ago
If you don’t have esther you have to call them or email and they will send it too you. Though they are probaly closed for vacation so you’ll have to wait.
My son was accepted which is wonderful news! For the folks who received a Trustee Scholarship, was that infor-mation contained in your acceptance letter or did you find out somewhere else?
@lstirl I am so sorry to hear this. It is a random game, and it is very possible that your D was rejected because she was “too good” for the schools that she applied to, and got what is called the “Tuft’s Syndrome” to protect the school’s yield: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yield_protection
I am sure she will do well no matter where she goes.
rejected yet again. sighh
Does anyone else who got waitlisted have the option to upload the owl days consent form?

DS declined and fine with it, due to other acceptances. Wishing you all the best!
