<p>D is in Gilchrist 4XX, good buddy from school is in 4XX+1!!! (For summer she is in Gilchrist 5XX, almost the same room, different floor.) </p>

<p>It seems with the loss of 1000 freshman, and the upping of the admission requirements, there are more Honors students this year. THere is definately an overflow into Gilchrist. Judging by my D's priority number and her room number in Gilchrist (she is not honors), and her networking with other FSU freshman, there may be nearly a "floor's" worth of Gilchrist honors overflow, maybe more counting both girls and guys.</p>
<p>there is definitely an "official room assignments" thread on facebook where kids post the room #s and several other threads for certain dorms.</p>
