Got into Newarks business school today. New Brunswicks sas and business school are both still in process. I applied around jan 20th with 40 credits and a 3.46

I applied to Rutgers-New Brunswick SAS (Political Science major).
I have a 3.01 GPA, and attend another four-year state school in NJ.
And have spent a semester abroad studying in Spain.
In total, I have 44 Credits (including the 12 from Spain), and should have 59 by the end of the semester.

I’m not too confident that I’ll get in given my OK GPA. However I think studying abroad is a good boost.

Thoughts?

Was admitted to Rutgers Newark today. NB SAS is still in progress. Does anyone know when they let you know about financial aid?

@NJcollegeboy I think the fact that you have 44 credits adds a lot of strength to your application. From what I heard the less credits you have the less likely you are to get in.

got into rutgers newark business school today … 3.475 with 10 credits completed so far.

just got accepted into SAS today.

3.73 GPA
PTK member
60+ credits (graduating with my associates)
NJ STARS recipient

still waiting on RBS - NB.

So my boyfriend submitted his application for Rutgers New Brunswick early January. We are still waiting for him to hear back and it’s been longer than a month. How much longer do you think we’ll be waiting.

He is transferring from Bergen Community and his GPA is 3.5

This anticipation is killing me. Does anyone think I’ll be able to get into SAS with a 3.15 GPA and 16 credits so far. It’ll be 32 credits by the end of Spring semester and hopefully I’ll get a better GPA, but they won’t be able to see that by the time they make the decision.

I applied early too, like beginning of January is when I got everything in, if that helps in any way. And thanks to whoever responds, it’s much appreciated. I’m just worrying a lot and need an opinion to calm myself or let myself be prepared for rejection before I go insane haha.

I’ve seen people with better stats get rejected and I’ve seen people with lower stats get accepted so really its up in the air. But the amount of credits you have might end up hurting you.

Thank you for replying I appreciate it :).

kelley jean. Are you going to have all the business school prereqs completed after this spring semester?

I applied OOS, 39 creds, 2.8 GPA. What are my chances?

Well, I got denied by the business school in new brunswick, but accepted by the SAS.

had a 3.46 gpa, alittle on the low end I guess, I figure its because I didn’t have all the pre reqs done yet, but it could also be my abysmal high school gpa (2.7)

@mismoo how many credits did you have and when did you apply?

Just got into Rutgers SAS NB and SEBS NB. Had a 3.20 GPA at Brookdale CC, with 37 credits as of now (53 by the end of Spring), and with one dropped class. Hope this helps.

@soccerguy
i was originally planning to go to RBS, and therefore completed almost all of the requirements, except for my second accounting class. i could barely sit through accounting I and i decided that the business school and all of that was not for me. so i have all of the requirements, except for that second accounting course.

40 completed at time of application

Whats SAS and RBS and all the other ones, also pharmacy?

Also, what stats are needed for pharmacy?

Thansk gusy and good luck!

@eaglesfan26 when did you apply?
