How do you know? I can’t believe they only give 1 month window to apply while other colleges already started accepting applications for spring 2012.

It says on their website and I called and asked. I know I was thinking that as well they have to be crazy they are just going to get flooded. I’m guna submit mine first day though.

hey all,

i will be applying for the 2012 spring semester as soon as it opens up, and i wanted to see if you guys think i stand a chance lol. i had just completed a year at middlesex community college. my overall gpa is a 3.3, and i have completed 30 credits which are transferable(according to njtransfer). i will be taking another 16 credits this upcoming fall. i live in new jersey, and i am hispanic(im not sure if that will count for anything lol). by the end of fall, i will have completed chem1 and 2, physics1 and 2, bio1 and 2, and calculus, so idk if my courseload will be taken into consideration… i would really appreciat it if you guys let me know what you think my chances will be if i apply as early as possible!

-thanks!

sorry, i forgot to mention that i wanted to apply to the school of arts and sciences!

They’ll matter a bit. Grades are what they look at most. My brother’s only EC was being a cashier at a supermarket for 5 years and he still got into Rutgers Business school in NB.

@deadhead654
Rutgers business school in new brunswick only accepts fall transfers. I am not sure about Newark. Did u complete all the prereqs?
Application will probably be up early september

@ballplaya
He had over 70 with remedials but rutgers only took 60 of them. 3.8 gpa.

Thanks for the heads up - not sure if I did all the prereqs, I gotta check. Is there any way to get accepted in Newark and immediately transfer to NB.

I think you’ll have no problem getting into Newark. You can transfer to Newark to finish your prereqs and then transfer to nb but you could stay at ur cc and do the same.
