Just register for the 10th
@bottle the reason your brother had a pending math placement test was because apparently every math course has to be looked over by the math department or so they said.

agh! i know i made a thread about this, but i doubt i’ll be getting answers in it, so is anyone here switching from full-time status to part-time? as in 6-12 credits? i’m considering it to save on tuition and also because of the current class availability. thing is, i’m afraid less credits = late priority registration for spring 2013.

@scienceguy1

You have to take a placement test if u don’t have an equivalent calculus class and 1 english composition class.

What does it say under additional comment at the end of your transfer evaluations.

You have to take a placement test if you didnt take calc or a college level math course. So it’s still under evaluation so as of right now I don’t have to but they said I shouldn’t have to since I have both trig and precalc finished which is what they require to fulfill the college level math course transfer.

Yup you should be fine.

Yay for bureaucracy! lol

Now we just need our housing assignments…!

I need my fackin scholarships !

Did you find out yet?

NOT YET FACK. I am so ed about this. I called the lady at Rutgers who is in charge of this but she hasn’t returned my calls. It just says on the website that students who are awarded will be notified in December. Fack it is December already. Not to be an a$$ or anything but I don’t see any reason why I am not getting it.

neither do i. If you don’t get it even I’m going to be ****ed off lol. No offense to Rutgers but I would agree that given your credentials you are way out of their league they should be paying you to attend to bring their stats up lol.

Anyone know what my chances are at transferring from Rowan with a ~3.2-3.4 GPA? Thanks.

You should get in Isaac. For those wondering about housing, we will be notified the week of jan 9th. My mom freaked out and went behind my back and called lol.

hi everyone!
i didnt get anything in the mail yet about STAR days or my eval. I also didn’t get an email about orientation. Should i be worried? That makes me nervous!

how likely am i to get in with a 2.98?

Im just wondering because I am a bit worried. Im applying to transfer from Rowan University for fall 2012 at Rutgers New Brunswick. I applied to Arts and Sciences, School of Business, and School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. i had a QPA of 79.6 or 80 in high school. and a 1690 (even if that doesnt matter for the fall transfers). do you think a 2.9-3.0 would be good enough?

it depends. if you have below 24 credits at the time of application, they will definitely base your admissions on high school GPA and test scores. 3.0 GPA is like the borderline grade to get into Rutgers, i believe.

i think you Fall 2012 applicants should create a new thread because this one’s only for Spring.

Jan 9th… Jeez so last minute lol.
I wish they can let us know earlier

Well technically it’ll be the 4th but the representative said no one should have a problem getting housing.

Thanks for the housing info Scienceguy!!!

I was freaking out as well about that.

WHEN ARE WE GONNA MOVE IN!??? WHEN!!!??? LOL!!
