*Official* SAT I (4/1) Discussion

i was wondering too
blawned
but i think both of them were hard...

how can we discuss the problems if there
were two different tests?

this sucks

yeah, i remembered clearly that i got 3 no errors alternating. and i believe it was the second writing section.

regurgitatingcow... wow ur name's so hard to type LOL
but anyway, the math problem was something like this:
lx-yl=5. If y is a positive integer, what can x NOT be?
here y cannot be 0, u know.

what about the one with Thomas something in the detective one? i put A, he was most famous during his time or something. crap that doesnt sound right!

has anyone taken the test with the ethiopian women and her
daughter being a rebel or something

or a reading comp that had the comparison between what true
art is and the public's perception of it?

someone comment on the answers please?

i put something like "smart people should know him." because the author seemed surprise when hsi friend didnt know who thomas was.

oh..and what about the one with the math problem
that asks for perimeter of triangle? it was the one
that tells you the ratio of the sides is 3:1...
i dont really remember what it asked..

i believe i got an answer something like 6 root 12?

i didnt get that problem.

and did anyone get the error identifying question that was somehting like this:

"...each answer to the questions showed evidence of having been rehearsed." ---is "having been" grammatically correct?

4/1 sat was evil!! i had three math sections back to back!!

i think one of them might be the experimental, i had four math sections in total

regurgitatingcow... wow ur name's so hard to type LOL
but anyway, the math problem was something like this:
lx-yl=5. If y is a positive integer, what can x NOT be?
here y cannot be 0, u know.

I'm pretty sure the answer was x = -5

I put NO ERROR for the politicians who rehearsed their debates one.

aghhhh ok yea i got the version with the art and public perception, and ethiopian woman and her daughter cr passages...

ummmm definitely got a headache after like the section two when i saw that i had two math sections back to back. then i think it was like two writing sections back to back after that. i was like WHATTTTTT... grr!!

yeah trekker i got that too

would you guys happen to remember
some of the answers from the passages
by any chance?

lx-yl=5. If y is a positive integer, what can x NOT be?

How would you work that out?

does each version have its own bell curve?.....

ahh i didnt get 4 E's in a row..tahts not good..maybe that was an experimental section?.. god i hope it was.

What was the essay question?

about inconsistency and whether it is a desirable trait
I filled the whole space but i might have gotten a little off track
oh well
